How It Works
You’re drowning in the mental load. Exhausted, overwhelmed, and starting to wonder if this is just who you are now. (And yes, there might be a tiny toy in your coffee—because that’s parent life.)
Maybe you feel like leaving things as they are is no longer an option. Or you’re working up the courage to ask for support and trust that it will actually help. Either way, you’ve probably felt frustrated, ashamed, embarrassed, guilty, or just not happy with yourself in this season of life. You’re not alone.
Every client we’ve worked with has experienced these feelings. And once they took that first step and discovered how Focus Like A Mother met them where they are, no matter what their parenthood journey looked like, they found their unique path forward.
What would need to be true for you to join those parents and take that first step?

Step 1: The Discovery Call

30 minutes—that’s all it takes to chat with Megan and get personalized recommendations for your unique situation. You’ll meet with her via Zoom from the comfort of your own space. She’ll ask you a few questions and listen to your experiences, goals, and needs. You’ll walk away with a personalized Focus Map, outlining specific steps for clarity and progress. You’ll learn about what Parent Brain Coaching can help with, where it might not be a great fit, and get answers to your questions. That’s it… just a 30-minute chat with Megan. She’ll send you a follow-up email with resources tailored to you. It’s FREE. There’s no commitment beyond showing up, exactly as you are.
Step 2: Choosing Your Path

After your Discovery Call, Megan will send you your personalized Focus Map via email, sharing resources and recommendations on what might work best for you at this stage. She’ll include links to more details, not only about our programs but also to free or external resources that may be useful.
You get to decide what level of support feels right to you.
Step 3: The Transformation

This is where the magic happens. You show up as you are… covered in spit-up, a child interrupting for attention, running on fumes from a sleepless night. We’ve held space for all of it.
You get the right parent brain and mental load support to go from reactive and overwhelmed to calm and clear (still some chaos, but you’re able to manage it better). Before working with us, parents often find themselves juggling endless mental tabs, feeling on the verge of burnout, and unable to savor the small moments. After engaging with our programs, they create a shift and truly enjoy story time with their kids, thanks to greater clarity, improved confidence, better self-awareness, and the ability to self-advocate and delegate. You’ll also have options for ongoing support. You won’t need to do this alone, because you’re not alone on this journey!
What would it mean to you if you could thrive your way through this season of life?
What Makes This Different?

First, Focus Like A Mother isn’t a clinical approach. We take an evidence-based coaching approach to support adaptation, skill-building, and forward momentum for parent brain and mental load. While our approach complements therapy, it is not a substitute for clinical diagnosis, healing from trauma, or professional mental health or medical support. Think of therapy as repairing the foundation. Coaching helps you design the space you want to live in. We partner with you to help you reach your goals in your own way. Learn more about Coaching vs. Therapy here.
Also, while we support parents, we’re not a Parent Coaching program, and we don’t offer parenting advice. We’ve said it many times, parenthood is TOUGH. It is the most demanding and difficult role ever created, and also the most rewarding. If you’re looking for parenting information or recommendations, check out this list of resources.
Finally, we’re not a huge corporation. Our products and programs are created by a parent for parents. Our Founder, Megan, is driven by her passion to support other parents and to join fellow thought leaders in shifting the culture and narrative around mom brain and the mental load. Evidence-based insights and real-life experiences drive everything we do. And when you contact us, you’re talking directly with Megan!
We’d love to hear from you! Ready to take that first step? Let’s chat!
