Hi! I’m Megan, and I’ve been there.


When I was pregnant with my second child, I hired a professional coach to help me “hack my brain” because I felt like it was really broken this time. I wanted my “old” brain back. As I began exploring mom brain and researching what was going on with me, I realized that this type of coaching didn’t exist (until now).

This is why I created Focus Like A Mother. I wanted to help other moms in my same situation realize that there is nothing wrong with them or their brains. Now, as an ICF-certified coach, I help parents who feel scattered, alone, or overwhelmed understand what’s really happening and real-life strategies that help.

In short, I became the Mental Load and Focus Coach I needed when my brain felt like it had gone to mush.

Traditional parent coaching could teach me parenting skills, therapy could help me heal and process my birth trauma, and life coaching could attempt to help me “hack my brain” and be more productive… however, none of these fully helped me with the overwhelm, frustration, and identity shift I experienced as I became a mother. The solution I was looking for didn’t exist… yet.
